Social Media Marketing Manager at Practice Ignition

The global social media marketing manager/specialist sits within our newly formed Brand, Communications and Content team in marketing to help drive brand awareness, consideration and advocacy globally for Practice Ignition. The role is responsible for managing Practice Ignition’s organic social content strategy and delivering compelling social campaigns to expand our audience reach, increase follower engagement and drive new visitors to our website. You’ll also play a key role in positioning Practice Ignition as an employer of choice as we rapidly scale the business globally. 

What you’ll be doing: 

With a combined social audience of 18K+ followers across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, you’ll manage our existing social media platforms to connect with prospects, customers, partners, influencers, investors and employees across the AMER, APAC and EMEA regions. You’ll also identify and build our presence on new social platforms and stay across the latest industry trends to make sure we’re always connecting with customers where they are.

You’ll lead our day-to-day organic social media strategy, content planning, content creation, content scheduling, social engagement and reporting. You’ll also track social media brand sentiment, monitor and manage social conversations, and amplify our brand mentions so we’re always capitalising on opportunities. 

Approximately 50% of your time will be spent proactively creating compelling social content and campaigns to generate brand consideration, engagement and product awareness. The other 50% will be spent working with our regional marketers and product marketing team to amplify and support marketing initiatives and campaigns, including content playbooks, webinars, case studies, blogs, product releases and more.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead organic social content strategy and planning
  • Manage the day to say social content calendar across owned platforms
  • Create and schedule social content using our marketing automation platform (Hubspot)
  • Develop and execute engaging social media campaigns aligned to our business goals
  • Continually optimise our social channels and content to ensure we maximise reach and engagement
  • Support marketing and other business functions with social amplification and messaging
  • Amplify regional marketing campaigns and initiatives to help generate awareness and demand for our brand
  • Proactively grow our social audience on existing and new owned social channels, and drive meaningful engagement 
  • Connect and manage relationships with social influencers to amplify our brand
  • Drive meaningful engagement with our social followers 
  • Identify opportunities to partner with influencers and industry partners on joint social campaigns
  • Monitor social sentiment and actively respond to social conversations
  • Engage on social threads, answering questions and responding to direct messages
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practice, including latest tools, training and certifications 
  • Act as social media expert and advocate in the business, ensuring our staff help drive social engagement for Practice Ignition
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor social media campaign performance 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years experience in a Social Media Manager role, B2B SaaS advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends
  • Experience on the tools like Canva (Hubspot advantageous)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work towards tight deadlines
  • Experience with creating and editing videos 
  • Attention to detail, deadline-driven, proactive and highly organised
