Currently, our employees are predominately working from home and this role will also be remote for the time being. We anticipate employees will be returning to the office, in a flexible capacity, during 2021 as appropriate & when it is safe to do so.

The Role:

We’re looking for a high energy, passionate generalist marketing manager who is keen to jump into our APAC business and make a splash through world class marketing campaigns. As the Marketing Campaign Manager for APAC, your role will vary day-to-day.

We’re in a scaling growth environment, which means you will need to be proficient with both delivering to a target through a well thought out marketing plan but comfortable and experienced enough to pivot your tactical delivery when opportunities come up that require immediate action.

Primarily, you will be responsible for the development, execution & results of local, always-on marketing programs & tactical campaigns to meet Deputy’s business goals. Working closely with the local APAC go-to-market team & the global marketing centres of expertise, you will develop quality, high impact activities which are measurable, ideally repeatable & reflect the values & brand personality of Deputy.

Your Skill Set:

  • Experienced communicating plans, vision, forecasts, and measures to a team of stakeholders and leaders 
  • Keen to articulate success against measures 
  • Proficient at creating innovative and engaging programs that have shown positive ROI business outcomes across multiple channels like: email, events, and direct mail (amongst others)
  • Ready to work both autonomously and in a team 
  • Accepting of ambiguity and willing to flexibly change tact whilst retaining a path to your north star
  • Capable of rolling up your sleeves to get work done while happy to let SMEs take control of other components 
  • Be a trusted partner to all stakeholders including peers in the marketing and sales teams
  • Know how to create multi-channel programs all the way through to running ROI positive events (both online and offline)
  • Solutions-focused, looking for new ways to create demand
  • Always improving processes and updating playbooks to ensure we keep our edge
  • Ready to dive into key tools and systems like CRMs, Marketing Automation, and analytics solutions
  • Within 2-3months, you’ll:

  • Complete your onboarding plan 
  • Come up to speed and/or complete training on the marketing stack and other tools 
  • Become familiar with and meet all relevant customers, associations and partners 
  • Examine past programs to glean learnings and explore for opportunities to execute tactical programs 
  • Create and execute on test programs to familiarize yourself with your stack, audience, and outcomes
  • Determine a roadmap and execution plan to deliver against goals
  • Have a clear understanding of your role in the business and where you’re going to make an immediate impact 
  • Building trust with and investing time your key stakeholders
  • Gaining confidence on how to navigate the business to remove roadblocks and deliver high quality, high impact campaigns, at speed
  • Within 6 months, you’ll

  • Consistently executing on your plan, enhancing it in real time to be working harder
  • Track your results, reporting on and sharing your success  
  • Navigate and/or optimize internal processes to get jobs done! 
  • Be well on the path to becoming an AU SMB & MM expert that is trusted by internal stakeholders
  • Make a mark on the broader team by leading by example, sharing customer stories & insights,  optimizing workflows, and owning playbook sections
  • Within 1 year, you’ll:

  • Over deliver against plan
  • Be well regarded as a leader in the business 
  • Ask for more budget because you have been so successful 
  • Grow a team beneath you to help you get more granular in your sub vertical programs Conduct a retrospective and know how to crush your ongoing goals and expand your remit
