About the role:

The Head of Customer Insights is responsible for working directly with partners and the Client Services’ crew to help develop and support existing and new partnership through providing relevant, impactful and market leading customer focused insights, information and data. These insights must speak to customer sentiment and context, how partners can improve their business performance  and what the opportunities are for partners, in light of market trends, technology, user experience, product, competitive pressures, current partner performance and other key factors. The Head of Customer will leverage Finder internal data, external market data and also conduct independent and bespoke research to produce insights, including on customer demand, expectations and behaviours. 

In this role you will grow and build revenue from helping our partners stay up to date with the latest consumer trends, highlighting Finder as a key distribution and marketing channel, and by showcasing how partners can generate maximum results from taking advantage of customer trends, including via Finder.

There are a significant number of partnerships to service across core verticals. The role requires a deep understanding of these product verticals i.e. the partnerships, the products, the relationships and the overall context. It will require you to build insights that can be presented by the team / you to partners. 

Supporting the Client Services crew and working directly with partners, you will develop best in-practice analysis, data, research and presentations which showcase what the opportunities  / challenges are for partners in light of customer trends, leveraging your skills to demonstrate why brands must partner closely with us across the range of products we offer. 

Your responsibility is not to just to develop and grow  partnerships for the company, but to blow new and existing partners away with excellent service, insights and analysis underpinned by strong, long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Blowing partners away with incredible analysis, insights and suggestions on how partners can improve their business performance and context around customer sentiment and insights
  • Mining internal Finder data, external market data and producing bespoke independent research to bring the news and latest consumer trends to partners 
  • Building and updating presentations based on the latest trends
  • Presenting information to partners in a range of forums, including intimate and larger partner meetings,  Finder hosted events and external events 
  • Developing new and stronger partnership and commercial opportunities for the company via helping partners stay on top of customer trends and insights
  • Working with our Client services crew to support existing and new partnerships 
  • Working with our Digital marketing and Insights & Marketing analytics crew to identify any helpful shareable data 
  • Conducting industry research to ensure that our solutions meet our partner’s needs both now and into the future
  • Working with internal stakeholders to report, identify and recommend strategies to improve business performance

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a digital business development, sales and account management roles
  • Experience in an agency or publisher environment or similar
  • Experience in approaching, pitching and closing new business, developing new partnerships and maintaining existing partnerships
  • Ability to deliver best practice thought leadership across customer interacting including user  experience, technology and onboarding customers, drawing from both local and international examples and markets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client service manner and solid relationship building and nurturing skills
  • Experience managing multiple partnerships at once
  • Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Analytics, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Tableau
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet Go live dates in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Strategic self-starter who is comfortable navigating white space and isn’t afraid to make decisions in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment
  • Must have a proven track record of driving projects from conception through to implementation 
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate a vision and motivate, inspire and challenge a high-performing team to achieve that vision
  • A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
