The Opportunity:

As this brand is renowned for delivering excellent customer service to ensure their users are using the platform to their full potential, we are seeking an exceptional Customer Support Specialist to join the Help Desk Support Team. You will be responsible for attending to customer calls, emails and live chats in an efficient and friendly manner and providing resolutions. You will need to have an understanding of retail back-end operations and inventory management to be able to troubleshoot customer issues quickly and clearly communicate how to rectify the situation using simple language.

What You’ll Bring To Maropost:

  • Experience in web languages such as HTML and CSS, and an understanding of DNS or how APIs work.
  • Experience in ecommerce / shopping cart software i.e., experience setting up/running/supporting an online store would be a bonus.
  • Exposure to and understanding of online marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Trade Me etc).
  • Understanding of how payment gateways work.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • An educational background in IT (TAFE or Uni).
  • Understanding of retail/inventory back-end operations.
  • Clear communication style - both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Calm under pressure to work in a fast-paced environment.
