As Tyro grows, it's an exciting time to join the People Team and help build Tyro's most important competitive advantage: our People!

Our people are fundamental to our success and the Talent Acquisition Team's purpose is to attract and recruit quality, high-performing and adaptable talent. We strive to attract the right people into the organisation who live our values and share our vision to be Australia's fastest growing, most loved payments and business bank.

Given our growth plans, we need some additional help in the technical recruitment space and are looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner to purely focus on our Software Engineer hiring.

As the Technical Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with Talent Acquisition Team to embed and promote a robust, methodical talent acquisition strategy with the ability to cope with competing demands while effectively prioritising tasks. You will also be responsible for attracting technical talent, understanding the market, and hiring for our technical roles. You are a motivated self-starter, curious about identifying and engaging top talent, and strive to achieve success in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements
  • Produce technical job descriptions as required
  • Develop recruiting materials and strategies that ensure  a successful talent search
  • Sourcing potential candidates on niche platforms
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, presenting and closing qualified candidates
  • Actively engage with our Technology Hiring Committee and share insights on the market
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Working closely with the wider People team to further developing our already positive employment brand
  • What you bring to the team:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment with previous experience hiring technical roles
  • Strong candidate focus, committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • Outstanding networking, relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills to lead in a consultative way
  • This is an awesome opportunity to join a growth company with a great culture company-wide and within the team. You could be an experienced agency recruiter currently hiring for technical roles, or perhaps you are already in an internal role looking for something different. If you think you fit the bill, we would love to hear from you!
