Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, we will provide the choice to work from home or return to work in an office unless a job requirement makes it necessary for a particular role to be performed at an Atlassian office.

As a Senior Product Manager at Atlassian, you will advance our mission to unleash the potential in every team!
Own this unique role on the Atlassian DevOps product team to work on one of our most popular products, Jira Software, and how we connect to a wide range of tools across the software development lifecycle. You will inspire and energise our team by crafting the future visions of the product, articulating customer problems and market opportunities, analysing industry trends, making priority decisions and clarifying trade-offs, and working with your colleagues across roles to break that down into an adaptable plan that delivers value to our customers.
Your work will impact millions of users as you define the foundation for how modern software teams build their toolchains and collaborate across their work in order to plan, build, release, and operate high-quality code at high velocity. 

More about you;

  • You love working hard to understand customer problems and make outstanding solutions for customers.
  • Have prior success setting product vision, strategy, and launching products or capabilities.
  • Can lead teams and work with others to set clear goals and make priority decisions.
  • Communicate crisply to your team, to leaders, to customers, and to partners.
  • Adept at building relationships across crafts, products, and functional groups to make sure we stay aligned.
  • Previous experience in the fields of Agile software development, DevOps, or developer productivity tools.
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and iterate product experiences as you learn new information by continuously rolling out to customers.
  • On your first day you will have;

  • Extensive product management experience, ideally at a fast-growing software company.
  • Significant experience defining and launching features that meet the needs of our customers and our business.
  • A customer-centric approach, ability to work directly and successfully with design and engineering to ship delightful products.
  • Ability to prioritise opportunities, balance the needs of our customers with those of our business, and clearly communicate the rationale behind your decisions
  • Understand the art of painting a compelling vision to inspire your teams and senior stakeholders
  • Good instincts matched with deep analytical thinking. You're comfortable defining and tracking key business and usage success metrics
  • A track record of building relationships and influencing without authority at all levels of the organisation
  • It's Great but not required if you have;

  • BE/BS/BA with an emphasis in technology
  • Experience with software engineering, DevOps and IT operations market
  • Experience working on enterprise-focused areas (B2B)
