We are looking for a HR Coordinator, to join our team in Australia. 

The Position

Reporting to the People and Culture Manager AUS - the HR coordinator will support our Australian team across all HR processes and projects by providing best practice advice and administrative support. In this newly created position, you will be working with a collaborative and committed team to respond to HR enquiries. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with recruitment including; phone screening, liaising with candidates, booking in interviews and managing job ads
  • On-boarding of new recruits and off-boarding exiting employees
  • Help facilitate the development and shaping of a strong employee-oriented company culture that is performance focused and follows company values and mission 
  • Nurture engagement and a positive working environment across the organisation
  • Overall management of workplace health and safety
  • In conjunction with the People and Culture Manger, manage effective performance management, employee services and employee relations
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and comply with all national and international  guidelines
  • Ensure local HR operations are working effectively and efficiently 
  • Collect and provide new starter information to the finance team to assist with the fortnightly payroll cycle.
  • Maintain up to date employee files within our HRIS, Bamboo HR
  • Project work as required
  • General office management duties
  • Participate in the People’s Guild to support employee engagement and events


We are looking for someone who has a passion for people and culture. Other key requirements are: 

  • Generalist HR knowledge
  • Employee relations/IR knowledge 
  • Experience in developing people capabilities and driving positive culture
  • 4 years experience working in a people and culture/HR function
  • High level communication skills including proven effective written, verbal, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to build influential relationships quickly
  • Ability to adapt work well under pressure
