ABOUT US

We are an early stage start-up with a small suite of products. We operate in the consumer and B2B market with data being our business but we

also make apps that make a real impact for our users across Australia

We are not your typical start-up as we are ASX listed. We have seen some success with the first generation of our products and services but now it

is time for the next iteration to support the roadmap into the future which includes some things a little bit cooler than just an app for your phone

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for the following person:

● You are pretty switched on and technical when it comes to software development. You have a tendency to dabble in new technologies

to keep up with what is going on and like to try to use new approaches and platforms when you have the right opportunity

● You have built some things, probably in a mix of mobile apps across both platforms and completed some web stuff too. You are interested

in building things the best way and not the way they have always been done. You move fast and break things but to figure out how to

make them better. If you come across a better way to do something you don’t keep it to yourself

● Full Stack might be a bit of a overused buzzword for knowing how things work but yeah, you know how things work

● You know what it means to work with other developers on a single project, you know when to ask for help, and you love to help others

when they need it too. You don’t mind working from home because you have a pretty good setup for that but also you also want to come

into an office to work side-by-side with others when it’s important to get stuff done

● You love achieving things and think it’s cool that this position comes with a bonus for making the release window but you also don’t need

to know anything about that because there is no way you aren’t going to deliver

● You understand building for scale and the difference between a MVP and a product that is being put in front of real users but you also

love it when you get to people who understand real things like technical debt

● You know what an early stage start-up is and what that means

ABOUT THE JOB

If that sounds like you these are the skills you are going to need:

● We are building in Flutter, so we are looking for Flutter development experience as either something you have worked with or able to

adapt to in a short runway. (We are not monsters who will ask for 10 years’ experience in a language that has only been around since

2017, less with the 2.0 release)

● Experience leading a small team of other developers for a single product including working with Product Managers and DevOps

● Have worked with Firebase and other integrations (OAuth, Messaging Queues, Shared UX, Shopping Carts)

● Experience with building mobile apps (and web apps) for iOS and Android working with formal UX Designs and User Stories

● Familiarity with Atlassian suite (specifically JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket) and working in Sprints

● Familiarity with working with cloud services (Google, AWS, Azure) and Data Warehouses (Snowplow/Snowflake)

● Experience with Developing for Scale

Bonus Points for:

● Working knowledge of Payment Gateways

● Familiarity with Business Intelligence and ETL

● Familiarity with Machine Learning (specifically Image Recognition and Pattern Intelligence)

● Familiarity with ElastiSearch
