About the role

We're entering an exciting period of growth and we're on the lookout for a standout Content Manager to complement our existing marketing function team and take our content creation, consumption and exposure to new levels.

Content has played a considerable part in Lawpath’s growth, and to date we’ve published over 2,500 legal guides and blog posts on our website. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, applicants will manage the production, editing and optimisation of content across Lawpath properties and externally on partner websites to help Australian businesses solve their legal needs.

 Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading content ideation, execution and optimisation across the Lawpath website and platform.
  • Editing and coordinating content supplied by our roster of contributors
  • Manage the hiring and responsibilities of content contributors
  • Use best-in-class SEO strategies to identify new content opportunities and optimise existing assets at all stages of the marketing funnel
  • Copywriting assistance across Lawpath’s website and owned assets, including email, newsletters, platform assets, PR etc.
  • Assist with creative / competitive research for blog posts and help plan briefs for contributors
  • Help develop and maintain a consistent voice across all facets of the business
  • Collaborate with team functions to facilitate content requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience with online content creation, content management and staff management.
  • A superior eye for detail and the ability to take responsibility of content across the business
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work autonomously
  • A strong practical understanding of SEO, content management and web analytics
  • The natural ability to add value to the Lawpath culture and our business values
  • A desire to continue to grow and develop new skills
  • A legal background (although not necessary it helps!)
