Who the hoot are Wisr?!

We’re on a mission to bring people closer to financial wellness and make a real difference in the world, starting right here in Australia. The way we’re doing it is pretty cool too. Take a peek at our fair and personalised loans, our round-up app, and our free credit scoring dashboard.

Now is the time to join one of Australia’s fastest growing ASX-listed fintechs. We are proudly purpose-led with a track record of consistent quarter-on-quarter growth and we’ve got big plans on our mind. People are taking notice and we were ranked #2 on the AFR Boss Best Places to Work 2022!

We are a responsible bunch of humans who love helping each other out and share a penchant for learning, both personally and professionally. We love our customers (some would say a tad obsessed) and we love making your day.

Keen to put your smart part to work? You’ll need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident based out of Sydney to apply.

About the job

Our vision to bring financial wellness to all Australians can only be achieved through ensuring our ecosystem of beautiful, simple-to-use digital products are aligned to our customers’ needs. By analysing data and identifying key opportunities, we are always building, iterating and learning from our customers.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to join our fast-growing business focusing on deeply understanding our clients’ and customers’ needs as well as how they use our products today. This will enable us to drive product improvements and make our solutions the best in Australia.

Initially you will be working closely with our marketing team to help drive enhancements to all things “front of funnel” with some key challenges including rethinking and optimising our application process, making sure our search and referral partners have amazing data, and building out the functionality of our website.

Some other key responsibilities of your role include:
- Regularly meeting with customers and clients and obsessively learn how they use our products to ensure we are delivering valuable outcomes and experiences.
- Building out and analysing our data on user behaviour as they engage with our website and products.
- Working closely with business stakeholders (particularly Marketing) to understand requirements and gain insights.
- Identifying areas to improve and optimise processes and product features to increase customer satisfaction, with the goal to ultimately improve our key performance indicators.
- Working closely within a balanced team of Tech Delivery, UX and Design to deliver product enhancements.
- Managing the product backlog and writing user stories.
- Developing the driving product vision for the design and delivery team and what needs to be achieved to deliver for our customers and clients.

About you

You are an enthusiastic problem solver who loves conducting user research and delivering exceptional products which are built based on customer needs and feedback.

Ultimately, you are a leader who is passionate about high performing product teams and wants to be at the pinnacle of building something really, really big for our customers.

You’ll also have/be:
- 4+ years’ experience as a core Product Owner
- Experience writing effective user stories and working closely with executive and senior stakeholders, tech delivery, UX and Design teams.
- Experience leading teams in an agile environment.
- Delivery oriented with excitement around creating high performing product teams.
- Ability to make decisions and influence others to achieve targeted outcomes.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback on an ongoing basis - we are focussed on continually improving at Wisr.
- A love of product metrics, A|B tests, and data driven decisioning.

Not sure if you tick all the boxes? Don’t rule yourself out just yet. If you’re interested, we would love to hear from you, so get in touch!
