How you’ll make an impact

Leading and developing a team of Partner Consultants; guiding, coaching and mentoring and ensuring we deliver outstanding Partner experiences and exceptional technical GTM support for our sales team.
You would be responsible for the successful growth, support, coaching and development of the Partner Consulting team. You’ll develop plans and tactics to ignite and develop our Xero Partners.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with the Head of Partner Consulting to execute on national partner sales strategies and to ensure national agreed sales targets are met
  • Thrive on driving an engaging high performance team culture, and an inspiring environment
  • Mentor and coach team members, and provide frequent feedback to individuals to support their continuing development, both their technical skills and soft skills
  • Provide outstanding leadership and motivation to the team while ensuring accountability
  • Drive achievement of KPIs including meeting activity
  • Be comfortable working with all business functions and stakeholders from the SLT to set strategy, through to front-line contributors who might be early in their career
  • Foster a culture of feedback that promotes personal and professional growth and development
  • Embed FuelX sales methodology in team’s consulting activities
  • Work with team members to ensure all have appropriate and up to date product knowledge of Xero and Xero’s practice tools
  • Be the escalation point where partners need leadership attention
  • Continually review and update systems and procedures to ensure excellent partner experiences and smooth interactions between Partner Consultants and Account Managers

  • Ensuring that territory based Partner Consultants are performing to the highest possible standard by having the skills needed to navigate Partners relationships, processes and workflow to drive the adoption of our Advisor and Practice tools
  • Team are clear on their responsibilities and are given regular feedback
  • Developing deep relationships within Xero’s GTM and product teams
  • Meeting monthly targets (Professional Services Revenue, Gross Org Revenue)Strong team engagement measured through Officevibe.

  • Proven experience in leading, coaching and motivating a team
  • Strong market knowledge in current Practice and SME software competitors platforms
  • Extensive industry knowledge, contacts and networks
  • An enthusiasm for building strong relationships and an ability to create a quick and strong rapport with partners and team
  • Strong business development skills
