The Opportunity

As the SMB Sales Engagement Manager, working closely with marketing, sales leaders and sales operations  you will build and execute on our Acquisition and Retention campaign activity plan. You will drive ANZ SMB success by focusing our team on the best opportunities, examining and managing lead quantity,  quality, and campaign  conversion rates.

Our teams work in a high volume space, so we are looking for a campaign manager with experience in campaign build and execution, lead generation and data sourcing, Salesforce campaign function and reporting, and lead scoring across Inbound and Outbound channels. This manager will have in depth understanding of phone based sales teams’ unique requirements, and while remaining detail and quality oriented, will act quickly to respond to business and market opportunities.

  • Understand our existing merchant base and our ideal merchant profiles, identifying opportunities for acquisition and retention activity
  • Manage all Outbound campaign activity across Acquisition & Retention, Inbound & Outbound incl. List creation, data integrity and resource allocation
  • Work cross functionally with Sales operations, marketing, product and legal, representing our SMB team requirements, merchants and processes in Go To Market plans and changes
  • Working with Sales Operations, build and implement Outbound dial campaigns within our Salesforce CRM: Defining opportunities for Always On Campaigns, and creating a structured and disciplined approach for tactical/ad hoc campaign opportunities. Working closely with Sales Operations create campaign performance metrics, reporting and communicating results
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams, remaining up to date with marketing initiatives and create structured SMB marketing plan and communication format
  • Partner with cross functional teams to embed well defined team briefing format including: target audience, key messaging, activity objectives, and supporting collateral for sales team
  • Partner with external data providers to secure high quality lead lists for our team to approach
  • Lead our team in Campaign CRM training and disciplines, including new starter onboarding
  • Optimise our merchant contact using: eDM, SMS and call cycles, managing key messages and content quality acting as SMB stakeholder with comms teams
  • Play key role in defining and releasing ANZ lead scoring project

    Afterpay is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing conducted virtually. Where possible and in line with DH Covid-19 restrictions, we are transitioning to in-office onboarding for all new starters on day one. Similarly, employees have started transitioning to 2 days per week in the office.
