About the opportunity

In 2021 we are bringing to market a suite of saving and investment products for novice and experienced retail investors. Our customers can access FirstStep through iOS, Android, and Web App.

The Growth Marketer will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention + engagement, and monetisation. The right person for this role is passionate about our customers, our brand, our product, and has an appetite and the capabilities to test any and every channel to drive growth.

The Growth Marketer will work alongside the product development and marketing teams and play an important role in prioritising the release of product to grow our customer base according to the growth model, and the need to address the biggest constraints to growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Live and breathe growth
  • Bring together the marketing stack
  • Design, own, execute and iterate the growth model
  • Define growth metrics and growth language
  • Communicate performance and insights to business stakeholders
  • Work with the product team


Required experience and qualifications

  • Experience in email marketing
  • Experience with referral campaigns
  • Experience in planning, managing, and executing digital/performance marketing across SEM, SEO, paid social, display and affiliates
  • Experience with ASO
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, 3rd party ad tags, and other forms of digital ad code
  • Experience working with media agencies to book and optimise paid media channels
  • Experience in managing budgets and targets to deliver ROI
  • Familiarity with the Reforge growth framework (particularly growth models and constraints)

About you

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Minimum 4 years experience managing customer acquisition
  • Data-driven and hypothesis-led
  • An innovative mindset to test new channels and campaigns
  • Highly analytical and detail orientated, while also having the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights for other members of the product team and broader business
  • Strong data visualisation skills to communicate performance
  • Take initiative and be proactive
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Broad knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly wealth management
