A day in the life of a Data Scientist @ Provectus….

  • Work closely with the Senior ML Engineer and other stakeholders to identify and define complex data-driven problems - conducting data exploration, analysis, discovery, and providing insights for decision making.
  • Work with various data types from multiple sources (microscopic images, biological and biochemical sensors etc) to design, implement, and validate appropriate algorithms and statistical methods based on the business requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and development of the automated ML and analytics workflows (cloud and on edge platforms).
  • Create clear and concise documentations to ensure reproducibility and repeatability.

What you'll need..

  •  PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science (major in ML/AI).
  • 1-2 years experience in the data science domain (industry).
  • Proficiency in data science relevant programming languages (ex. Python, R, Julia).
  • Understanding of (and ideally experience in) ML frameworks for business applications.
  • A good balance of theoretical and applied mindset when working with data and algorithms.

Bonus points for...

  • Knowledge and/or experience in MLOps (operationalizing ML workflows for business environment).
