As we join forces to cover the B2B and B2C market, we are building on an existing Sales function to be bigger and better than ever.

Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for an experienced Head of Sales with an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership skills. The ideal candidate will also be a creative strategist with excellent organisational abilities. 

The goal is to promote and expand our commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth. You will lead and be responsible for the fast-growing OneflareXAirtasker Sales Team driving the acquisition of new subscription customers and nurturing those customers to maximise the value they get from our combined offering.

The Head of Sales is a key role in our rapid growth strategy and as such your leadership and support of each of the sales teams will be determinant to our success. Identifying productivity and efficiency opportunities in the sales consultant team will play a key part of your role as well as on boarding and coaching team members, managing the opportunities pipeline and identifying new opportunities and key risks.

What You'll Do:

  • Developing and implementing commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
  • Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
  • Recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management of front line sales team members as well as team leaders.
  • Assist in setting financial targets and business plans, budget development and performance reporting
  • Develop and implement incentive structures for the team that lead to exceptional performance outcomes whilst achieving financial goals
  • What it takes so be successful in this role:

  • Degree or experience in business, marketing, or any other closely related fields
  • A good understanding of Small Business industries and/or lead generation marketing strategies
  • Strong commercial acumen 
  • Ability to define data driven sales strategies utilising tech and analytical tools 
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques and how to collaborate with advanced marketing teams 
  • Ability to seek out opportunity and create pathways for growth
  • Exemplary leadership skills and ability to motivate and scale a sales team 
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, or HubSpot), MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and analytics platforms such as Tableau
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines at any one time, while maintaining good attention to detail
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence internally and externally
  • Team player, energetic, competitive but supportive of others.
