Qsic is looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers to join our engineering team. We are looking for the right people, with a focus on building scalable, cloud native APIs, to join a collaborative team to help build our current technology stack for the future.
Reporting to the engineering manager, this is an opportunity to come into a one-of-a-kind, technology-rich company and have an immediate impact, and potentially to lead others. You'll take existing Python applications and make them really shine, and share your experience working in high-performing teams to help us build groundbreaking products.

This is an Engineering role. You will be on the tools and be part of the team that builds a brand new product enabling real time, in store insights to Qsic’s growing customer base. Contribute your technological insight into the ongoing product roadmap.Build APIs and management layers for the IoT fleet that powers our customers in store analytics.Take ownership and run new initiatives for new products and processes.Build fault tolerant and scalable solutions within AWS and on our IoT devices which are deployed in Australia and the US.Help shape the futures of those junior to you through mentoring.Work with data & AI teams to build data pipelines and machine learning models.Deliver security best practices and enhancements to our current API and IoT devices. Work with like minded engineers who have helped shape Qsic into what it is today.Be part of building a new team of Engineers, Data Scientists and Dev Ops professionals.Work as part of a cross-functional team on new project specifications and requirements.Take ideas and concepts, and turn them into new products and offering.Working with some truly amazing people and having a real impact on the future of Qsic.
You are a Senior Software Engineer and have mentored mid’s and even Senior Engineers.You love to get your hands dirty, this is not a management role.You like to understand the problem before jumping into code and can work with others to come up with a solution.You have designed and built fault tolerant applications.You have recent commercial experience designing client facing or internal APIs.You are someone who stays up-to date with best practices and technologies and can bring these to the development team and management for discussion.You can work with other engineers and teams to bring products to life. You are self-driven, have excellent attention to detail, and can work autonomously with minimal supervision.You communicate clearly and concisely in both spoken and written formats.
