About the role

With some exciting things in the works and some big milestones achieved recently, Tyro are now excited to welcome a brand new member to join as part of our Talent Acquisition team!

Within this role, you'll be working with the broader Talent Acquisition Team and members of our People Engagement Team to help build high performing Customer Support and Sales teams.

The roles you will be working on mostly will be high volume and mostly phone centric, therefore a willingness to jump on the phones and an ability to assess verbal communications and phone manner would be a massive asset.

Our Talent Acquisition Team really do work as a team, so you're also a team player who doesn't mind diving into roles outside your usual scope to help the broader team achieve its goals; "Teamwork makes the dream work!"

What you'll do:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, presenting and closing qualified candidates
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience and represent the company with integrity and professionalism 
  • Further developing our already positive employment brand
  • Finding creative ways to source highly talented technologists
  • Your skills:

  • You're not scared to dive in and give things a crack!,
  • Previous experience in high volume recruitment (temp/contractor roles, sales, FMCG, hospitality),
  • Outstanding networking, relationship building and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills to lead in a consultative way 
  • A sense of humour is definitely a requirement!
