We are looking for a Senior Electronic Engineer with excellent analog circuit design skills and proven experience designing and laying out complex embedded mixed signal systems. You'll be joining an exceptionally talented team of industrial designers, electronic engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturers solving complex medical technology challenges.

About us

Seer is developing technology to revolutionise the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, with a special focus on epilepsy. Our mission is to deliver deep personalised clinical insights and advance patient experience with leading-edge technology.

Our technology consists of wearable devices, a cloud platform and machine learning systems. These systems are at the core of our at-home video-EEG-ECG monitoring and diagnostic service - the first of its kind. If the description below doesn’t sound exactly like you, that’s ok. We are always willing to make exceptions for exceptional people.

About you

Are you the type of person who can design, simulate and test complex analog circuits? Have you built complex systems from scratch by yourself? Do you have extensive experience designing multilayer, high density, mixed signal boards? Do you have a strong background in RF analysis and design? Are you inspired by good design, and passionate about getting things right? If this sounds like you, we would love to chat!

Things we prefer you have done

Things you can do

  • 8+ layer high density layout in Altium Designer
  • Test and characterise analog, digital and RF circuits
  • Mixed signal / RF design for multiple applications
  • Design for low power applications (low power battery operated embedded devices)
  • Simulate and characterise performance of analog and RF circuits
  • Excellent understanding electronic instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analyser)
  • Produce designs with a high attention to quality (testing procedures, schematic and PCB review, and documentation)
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team with different backgrounds and experience levels
  • Experienced using version control systems like Git or Altium-365
  • Experience working in a highly regulated field

What we offer

  • An opportunity to work with the best of the best solving life changing problems
