UpGuard is growing rapidly and we have just moved into an awesome new office in the CBD! With that, we are looking for an Office Manager to jump on board to keep our space and team efficient and fabulous. Are you the ‘go to’ person amongst your friends? As the Office Manager, you will be part of the People Ops team and help take us to the next level. You will directly impact employee experience, not only physically in our Sydney office, but virtually with our teams across the globe. What will you accomplish?

  • Keep our Sydney office running smoothly, from keeping the lights on to the fridge full
  • Develop and own company initiatives, such as wellness activities or community involvement
  • Coordinate company events and celebrations
  • Help our teams to brainstorm and plan team building activities
  • Manage communications within the team, and broader company, to ensure everyone knows what we’re up to
  • Promote our employer brand externally so everyone else knows what we're up to #greatplacetowork
  • Keep us looking good #swag
  • Be a culture champion for the organisation
  • Help develop and maintain people policies and guidelines
  • What do we need from you?

  • 2+ years in office management or event coordination
  • Regular user of G-Suite and Slack
  • You are a strong communicator and know how to convey your message clearly in any format, whether it is writing a document, designing a presentation or speaking to a group
  • You demonstrate a high degree of judgement and can juggle a diverse range of priorities
  • You are an incredible systems thinker and like to solve problems by designing great systems that help teams have a greater impact
  • You are able to influence and work with an array of stakeholders
  • Organisation is your middle name
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You are not afraid to learn new things, dig into research and figure stuff out
