To support our growth, Swyftx is searching for a Level 1 Support Engineer who is passionate about providing exceptional customer support for technical issues to our internal employees.

About the opportunity:

As a Level 1 Support Engineer at Swyftx, you will deliver a comprehensive and collaborative IT support service to all team members across all business operations. You will focus on help desk resolution and troubleshooting for a range of technologies, whilst adopting a personal, reliable, and professional approach to ensure end user satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide excellent IT support to all Swyftx team members over the phone, via email and in person
  • Monitor and respond to level 1 IT help desk requests such as password resets, network and internet troubleshooting, workstation hardware and software issues
  • Liaise with team members regarding requests to source further information when needed, aiming to achieve first point of contact resolution wherever possible
  • Adhere to internal SLA’s for help desk requests, communicating with the Head of IT and relevant stakeholders regarding any delays
  • Set up workstations and hardware (Windows and Mac) for new team members and existing users as needed

About you:

  • Experience with IT systems, ideally within a Level 1 Support Engineer role or similar
  • Competent at troubleshooting technical IT issues across a range of technologies
  • An understanding of business processes and technology systems, including cloud-based software
  • A valid drivers license
  • Notable time management skills and experience working towards deadlines and within set SLA’s
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
