About the opportunity:

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to make their mark on a defined section of our client base, by using their strategic, creative and implementation skills to full effect. Being highly organised, a strong communicator, having excellent attention to detail, cool under pressure and a consummate team player are aspects that will help you excel in this role.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Relationship management at all levels across the account and Openpay functional teams
  • Business review and 3-month planning
  • Drive tactical promotional activity with ROI to drive share increase and plan volume/value
  • Execute ongoing training with the account
  • Dominate brand presence online and in store, maintaining a store audit
  • Resolve operation issues and deliver operational excellence
  • Project manage onboarding of new merchants after internal account set up completed
  • Competitive analysis and reporting
  • Share best practice, wins, and maintain a best in industry reputation


  • Produce monthly Bi report for all accounts
  • Provide analysis on performance
  • Provide benchmarking analysis
  • Ensure Openpay has a strong brand presence at all customer touch points of engagement
  • Work with web partners or internal website managers to ensure Openpay has the appropriate digital presence
  • Where applicable, work with call centres to ensure Openpay message is included in all customer touchpoints

Monthly business review

  • Discuss eDM and marketing initiatives
  • Marketing plan review
  • Monitor weekly & monthly performance
  • Execute and close gaps

What you’ll need to have:

  • Successful Account Management experience (Automotive experience desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience in influencing and negotiating
