How you’ll make an impact

The Xero Change Management Capability aka “The Changels” is looking for a Change Analyst to join the team to help roll out some big, exciting projects and initiatives. In this role you will specifically support the Customer Operations team on a variety of change programs and initiatives, such as system rollouts and new ways of working and will join a number of their program teams. You will also work closely with the current Change Management team based in People Experience(PX).

What you’ll do

  • You will be a member of the Xero Change Management Capability and team (aka The Changels) and you will be supported and guided to use the Xero Change Management Framework, practices and tools.
  • You will be working with the Customer Operations team across programs of change that are being led by our Customer team. You will provide change management analysis, research and services as part of program/project teams.
  • You will own the analysis and investigation of the specific change initiative(s), involving the population of core artefacts (e.g. Impact & risk analysis, end user analysis) as part of change planning
  • You will work closely with project BA’s and SME’s to gain suitable coverage and understanding of the impacts to the business as a result of the proposed changes.
  • You will work closely with the Change Leads to engage with business stakeholders and sponsors.
  • You will be the owner of change analysis artefacts, ensuring they are up to date, refined, produced in a timely and high quality manner, and shared or stored appropriately
  • You will attend relevant workshops to share updates, collaborate with stakeholders and project teams.
  • You will support and/or own communication and education activities in conjunction with relevant business owners and managers
  • Be a central part of the change team to support and drive successful change management through a wide variety of projects and initiatives. You will own and drive some change actions within the project. 
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • 2-3 years in a BA or similar role
  • Experience engaging with a variety of teams and skilled people
  • Experience creating #beautiful training or support content
  • Previous exposure to common BA tasks eg: requirements gathering or impact analysis.
  • Experience working with the Microsoft suite, Asana and Miro
  • Previous experience working on a change project would be advantageous!
  • A keen eye for detail and an inquisitive nature
  • A good willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and get stuck into a variety of tasks
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent analysis skills
  • Strong ability to analyse and capture relevant points
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional empathy and ability to understand people, especially during times of change where they may be uncomfortable.
