PR Specialist - International at Finder

Role Overview:

The PR specialist role is an exciting opportunity to help grow Finder across the world. This opportunity will provide you with a great team, interesting work, and the opportunity to grow your skills in PR and content marketing. In addition to writing newsworthy and compelling pitches and press releases, you’ll be an ideas person who thrives on the challenge of securing media opportunities that get Finder noticed for the right reasons.

You will be responsible for developing media relationships with journalists across the globe to tell the Finder story. You will need to be comfortable tailoring ideas across markets and passionate about finding the story in data. As part of the role you’ll also come up with and advise on content marketing ideas to get Finder mentioned and linked to in the press.

About you: 

You’ll have a can-do attitude and always be willing to jump in to get the job done. Whether it’s looking for media contacts, localising a press release for a different market or writing an oped, you’re willing to go above and beyond to complete your tasks on time and to high accuracy. You’ll have excellent attention to detail and desktop research skills. You’re not afraid of excel - it’s an added bonus if you know all the formulas and shortcuts. 

Above all you’ll need to be hungry to learn and grow your skill set. You’re comfortable learning new systems and aren’t deterred if you don’t have all the answers. You’ll be joining a team that is always learning, improving on yesterday, and striving to “master our craft”.


  • Media relations
  • Writing press releases & pitches
  • Developing opeds
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets to find the story in data
  • Story creation and ideation
  • Project management

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Media relations 
  • Creation of proactive story ideas and managing the press office
  • Working with and briefing stakeholders for media opportunities
  • Interest in personal finance and investing
  • Working in teams

Nice to have:

  • Global experience or experience working in other markets
  • Understanding of SEO
  • Content marketing
  • PR agency experience
