Your Challenge:

As the Campaign Marketing Coordinator - Trade for hipages, a private technology company, your role will be to  support the Trade Lifecycle Marketing Manager in Sydney across our onboarding, engagement, retention & ascension activities. You’ll have a background in email marketing and communications. Your role’s purpose is to support the Trade side of the business to develop go-to-market activities across numerous channels, work cross-functionally with our Sales, Service & Product teams and write fresh and engaging communications. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learning about our customer base and writing excellent copy to alleviate their pain-points
  • Executing and continually optimising tradie lifecycle communications, journeys, initiatives, and campaigns. This will encompass online and offline channels.
  • Utilising a test, measuring and learning approaches to iterate and optimise initiatives, delivering maximum value over time and plugging any leaks in the funnel. 
  • Working cross-functionally with exposure to a number of teams
  • Writing copy for various communication platforms (email, push, in-app, sms)
  • Supporting our Sales and Service teams and identifying opportunities for improving the customer experience communications
  • Creating new templates in Braze for our Trade Marketing Team

You bring:

Our ideal candidate will be comfortable in developing and delivering unique and tailored marketing campaigns across a range of channels using our marketing automation technology. You must be curious and want to learn. A love of data is critical and you’ll need the ability to identify trends in information in order to weigh up the alternatives according to their likely impact.

The role is focused on the lifecycle of our tradie base, so you’ll need a deep appreciation of the customer experience and a passion for idea creation so you can contribute unique ideas and be confident in your decisions. From time to time you’ll be required to present your ideas in small informal settings using materials and visual aids. The ability to solve complex problems quickly and collaborate with all team members will be fundamental to your success.

We work in a fun fast paced environment, so time management skills will be essential to your role. You’ll need exceptional attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines in higher pressure situations without compromising the quality of your work. We’re all working towards a common goal, so you must take pride in your work, be a supportive team member and someone who excels when thrown a challenge.

Your CV:

  • Customer marketing experience - automation, lifecycle comms
  • Experience assisting customer lifecycle activities including direct and content marketing, automated events. 
  • Experience creating and deploying basic assets to web (emails, banners, etc) 
  • Impeccable copywriting skills and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Technical Experience:  
    • Basic HTML/CSS skills
    • General UI & UX design understanding
    • Exposure to any of the following Marketing Automation tools (Braze, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo etc).
    • Basic Photoshop, SQL and Wordpress skills appreciated but not required

New graduates are welcome to apply however 1+ years experience in customer marketing is required.
