Antler, globally, in under three years of operating, has grown to have a presence in 14 cities around the world, including offices in most major startup ecosystems, such as New York, Berlin, London, Singapore and Sydney. This has resulted in investments in over 250 companies. Here in Sydney, we are coming up to our second birthday and are making more early-stage bets than anyone else in the country. To date, we have welcomed over 330 founders to our platform and invested in 39 companies.

Our headcount in Australia has been steadily growing and we are currently 24 strong. Following the successful execution of three cohorts with our fourth currently in flight, our long expected Melbourne launch is now happening! Therefore, we are on the hunt for a Scouting and Program Manager to help form this new location.
Initially, your focus will be on building community support and interest for this new location launch. You will achieve this by harnessing your existing network in the Melbourne tech/startup ecosystem and delivering to them tailored content and events to get them up to speed on Antler as the optimal path to build and scale a company. Then, your company scouting eye will kick in as you will bring to us interesting Founders and early stage startups via outreach channels such as pitch nights, VC connections and universities with commercialisable research. You will also assess early Founders and early stage startups who are wanting to join the Antler platform, looking at the Founder/team, the problem they are solving, and their traction to date. You will play a key part in assessing potential Founders’ suitability for Antler and constantly be deriving insights and seeking improvements for how we assemble and deliver cohorts. Then, when the cohort is in flight, you will play a key role in ensuring its smooth operation. You will be the main point of contact for our Melbourne founders holding a central role in their journeys to building the defining companies of tomorrow.
Your key success metrics will be the number of founders that we invest in from the Melbourne cohort and the credibility we gain in the local market as being the number one path to launching and scaling a company.
