Responsibilities

  • Implement bank-grade infrastructure,  security and development and data operations  in Cloud environment
  • Establish DevOps, InfoSec  and DataOps best practice that are fit for purpose
  • Enhance and mature automation, infrastructure as code and CI/CD capabilities in the cloud  improving security, monitoring, accessibility, redundancy, scalability, cost efficiency, and operational simplicity
  • Provide mentorship to other teams on DevOps and DataOps practices to enable effective and shared operations of all internal and external systems 
  • Provide guidance for security operations including alert management, incident response and vulnerability management
  • Develop security response playbooks with various teams within the organisation to ensure an organised and timely response to security incidents

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience deploying production infrastructure to AWS (other Cloud Providers considered, but AWS strongly preferred)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Awareness and ideally practise of SecOps and DataOps
  • Strong programming and automation skills  in Linux/Cloud environment (Bash scripting and Python)
  • Extensive experience building and deploying with Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience working with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Extensive experience implementing security best practices for mobile apps, APIs and Cloud infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of microservice architecture (Docker, Kubernetes/mesosphere)
  • Strong organisational skills and diligence in documenting processes and outcomes

Bonus/Nice to Have

  • Experience in start-up environments 
  • Previously worked in an Agile company environment
  • Experience with SQL, Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake or Spark
