About the Role:

We seek a customer communications and marketing specialist to join our fantastic team based in Cremorne, Melbourne. This position forms part of the APAC marketing function and reports to the APAC field marketing manager. You will be a member of a newly created customer marketing hub with a person in each of our three markets. This role is supported by a fast-growing dedicated, close-knit, fun-loving team of marketers with mixed skillsets based in Australia, the US and the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  • stimulate awareness for both the need and value of our software offering within the existing customer base
  • collaborate with our customer experience team (CET) leader in Australia to strategise and build out effective marketing and communications for the customer base
  • ensure message and content is consistent with the brand direction, tone of voice contribute to marcoms: related to the customer journey after the decision to partner with Phocas is made including:
  • administration
  • on-boarding
  • maintenance and management of accounts
  • updates on product offering
  • developing and disseminating news
  • developing and sharing “did you know” information
  • promoting awareness for training, the chat forum and live customer events
  • manage customer advocacy programs
  • have a vital part in voice of the customer surveys and research
  • use social media, web, email, direct, live and internal communications channels to build-out strategic campaigns
  • guide the business on how to generate more referrals (word of mouth recommendations for Phocas)
  • drive software reviews in third party channels like G2Crowd and Capterra
  • collaborate daily with the marketing team to align, develop, monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance
  • work with customer success team and operations to ensure customer data is well maintained and up-to-date

We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years’ experience in relevant B2B customer marketing and communications role/s - who can multitask, is a clear and concise communicator, uses sound judgment, competently manages stakeholders, gets things moving, keeps people informed, and has good attention to detail.

Other Key requirements to be successful

  • strong customer communications & marketing; highly desirable gained within business to business (B2B) marketing – Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
  • effective campaign development experience
  • sound copywriting skills
  • HubSpot usage - marketing automation
  • social media know how
  • bachelor level qualification in Marketing/Communication or Business
  • a strong sense for creative and brand UX/CX
