Position Summary

On a daily basis you'll be utilizing your skills working within our ecosystem of applications, services and infrastructure using a combination of C#, Selenium, Specflow, and working with products such as Azure Devops, Bitbucket, Jira and TestRail. For this role any application level testing technology may prove useful and we are always on the lookout to take advantage of new and emerging technologies and services that allow us to innovate faster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with product managers, UX designers and developers to perform automation test scoping and execution in preparation for new applications, feature enhancements and bug fixes
  • Develop application level automation, demonstrating thorough test coverage through a deep understanding of end-user scenarios
  • Design, build and maintain scalable testing utilities and frameworks
  • Hone your skills as an automation engineer for our growing team, becoming a reliable source of automation expertise for the company
  • Report on test performance to highlight risks before they become issues
  • Investigate new technologies and intelligent ways to bring maximum value through UI testing
  • Troubleshoot and debug platform issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
  • Build and maintain effective and consistent test executions in our deployment pipeline

About You

  • Previous experience in designing and implementing test solutions
  • Familiar with test automation technologies such as Specflow, Selenium and NUnit
  • Experienced with C# and .Net frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A detailed-oriented mindset, with a passion to learn & develop
  • Enthusiastic about overcoming challenges and making a difference
  • To enjoy discovering practical solutions to difficult problems
  • Adept in software engineering practices
  • Love discovering novel solutions and encouraging others to learn and share
  • Interested in long term opportunities for growth and career development

And it's great if you have:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and release management
  • Experience with Jira or similar
  • Familiarity with Chrome Dev-Tools, web-scraping and HTML
  • Familiarity with TestRail or other test management systems
  • Experience with payment terminal testing and testing ecommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with machine learning solutions
