Overview of Position 

This junior role is a great opportunity for those wishing to enter the purchasing and procurement industry. You will be working in a small agile purchasing team servicing the needs of production and R&D departments. Reporting to the Senior Purchasing & Procurement Officer in a growth environment you will receive training and guidance to expand your experience of purchasing and procurement in a technology manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implementing purchasing policies and plans to achieve business objectives
  • Administer the purchasing process from the point of purchase requisition to fulfilment
  • Maintain inventory accuracy
  • Ensure accuracy of component attributes in our planning system
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in a procurement discipline will be looked upon favourably
  • 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing role ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to adapt to change and strong time management skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and requirements
  • Experience of working with Salesforce and Confluence would be an advantage
