As Product Execution Lead, you will be accountable for developing a centre of excellence across the product department in process management, project management and business analysis.
 
You will be required to use your superior program management experience and delivery skills to lead, develop and support a team of 10 (Project Managers, Business Analysts and Process Managers) to engage, excite and navigate stakeholders through the execution of large-scale, multi discipline initiatives.
 
Your goal is to drive efficiencies and productivity in the way we deliver product initiatives. This role will also have significant influence in the ways of working over the broader organisation at Tyro to ensure end to end delivery of our major projects. You will be responsible for setting up the cadence, frameworks and ways of working as execution team is a newly established function within product.
 
You will be reporting to the Chief Product Officer and will work alongside many cross functional stakeholders such as the Head of Payments, Head of Banking, & the Head of Digital Channels to ensure end to end project delivery is of quality and in an accelerated manner.

As Head of Product Execution, you will be required to do the following:

  • Lead, coach and support the team to identify project dependencies and work with relevant departments to ensure plans can be carried out effectively and dependencies are resolved.  Act as a point of escalation if required
  • Identify key stakeholders and work proactively to gain their support and endorsement by establishing contacts, conducting presentations/workshops and attend stakeholder meetings
  • Develop project delivery tools, templates and success metrics to drive consistency in the way we execute projects
  • Ensure stakeholders are engaged and excited to collaborate to deliver outcomes. You will work closely across all tyro business units (sales, CS, marketing, legal, compliance, risk, product, engineering etc) to ensure end to end stakeholder buy in and collaboration in cross business cutting programs
  • Liase with Product Leadership Team in order to prioritise efforts and resources to ensure seamless project delivery and optimal resource allocation across strategic projects aiming to deliver impactful customer outcomes
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure design and implementation of engineering solutions are done in a coordinated and aligned manner with project and product delivery
  • Provide education and training of other business units in best practise in project management, business analysis and lean six sigma
  • Understand end to end processes, related operational risks and compliance
  • To be considered for this role you will be expected to possess:

  • 7+ years of experience in program management of a portfolio of complex projects in a fast pace, changing environment.
  • Experience in banking, payments and/or consulting (preferred)
  • Proven experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams to execute project deliverables.
  • Excellent communications with strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Be commercially astute, with demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Experience in building and maintaining robust relationships across the business to drive project delivery.
  • Hands on program management and strategic experience in relationship to large projects
