What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise, the Senior Account Executive will play a high profile role in Sonder’s growth in enterprise. Through the use of cutting edge technology, we provide organisation’s with the ability to support their employee’s mental health and physical wellbeing 24/7. Every business is reviewing their employee wellbeing programs right now. This role will see you pitching a totally new way to ensure employee wellbeing and safety, one that is not offered by anyone else.

With access to the product and engineering team, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the product to suit the customer.

Creative expertise from our marketing team, data insights from our membership experience team, and collaboration from our partner success team, will see you supported in every way possible. Your day to day activities include:

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals and targets
  • Territory and account plans for the specified customer base to deliver sales objectives
  • Lead/leverage a matrix account team of Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Success Professionals to develop and manage sales pipeline and enhance customer relationships and value
  • Drive customer success by developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customers’ business and industry challenges, market competition, competitive issues, and products whilst offering new and compelling insights to customers to help them improve the way they run their business
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and customer care
  • Commercial negotiation of large scale and complex deals, including pricing, terms and partnering with legal team to get appropriate outcomes

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone who has proven success in leading sales cycles with senior executives
  • A tertiary education in business, project management, communications or equivalent experience
    A demonstrated track record of identifying and closing large enterprise accounts in a disruptive sector
    10 years full cycle sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • A highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in Sonder’s
  • A deep understanding of the way businesses operate, how private and public companies make decisions, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level mission
  • An ability to teach, tailor and take control of customer discussions.
