About this role

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced lawyer to join Stake. Working closely with the Head of Legal, Compliance & Risk, you will support and advise the business on a range of legal matters.

Your role will include:

  • Negotiating agreements with our strategic partners;
  • Reviewing marketing and communications materials;
  • Providing advice on new products and services;
  • Monitoring and advising on relevant laws and regulatory changes; and
  • Supporting our Customer Success team.

A bit about you

This role would suit a 3-6 year PQE in-house or private practice lawyer. We’re looking for someone who has:

  • strong communication skills;
  • contract drafting and negotiation skills;
  • strong decision making skills; and
  • experience in a small or medium sized organisation.

Although not essential, the following would be considered desirable:

  • financial services experience including knowledge of the Corporations Act; and/or
  • legal experience in an online platform business.
