The Company

At THE ICONIC our mission is to deliver seamless and inspiring experiences for our customers and our people. We DREAM BIG through collaboration and innovation and are supported to bring incredible ideas to life. We are a group of people believing in making a positive difference in this world and liberating our customers through the power of fashion and sports.

The Team

At THE ICONIC, innovation drives us; we believe that innovation should not be sitting in a siloed team but rather be part of everyone and everything we do & deliver. Every person in tech has a voice and we find that our best products are achieved through collaboration.

We have over 120 people in tech, not to mention 45 nationalities (and counting!) This means that our skills and experience is diverse, allowing for greater collaboration and constant learning. All of our teams are cross-functional, mission-driven and able to iterate from inception to production (DevOps mentality) without being blocked or having to ask permission from other teams. We love to move fast and validate learning using data (lucky for us our Data Science & Analytics team is also world-class!)

The Role

In your time at THE ICONIC, you will play a key role in uplifting the Product team’s ability to deliver quality solutions at velocity. This is not a generic engagement to ‘make us agile’. You will bring laser focus to what the Product team need most: best practice requirements and JIRA structure.

Your #1 objective is to take our Agile requirements practices to the next level. You will evaluate how we are capturing requirements across all teams. You will then implement standardised, structured, rigorous best practice approaches such as Gherkin, ICE evaluation, and Lean.  You will implement standardised best practice JIRA structures to support efficient Agile delivery, ensuring sound and consistent usage of JIRA across all Product Owners, Product Analysts, Scrum Masters and teams.

You will approach this not only from a process perspective, but also people. You will need to individually assess the relevant capability of each member of the team, and work together with them to fill the gaps in their knowledge and skill sets, through structured on-the job coaching.

What does success look like?

To be successful in this role, you will bring all product staff up to a high level of capability in all aspects of Agile solution shaping. All members of the team will be able to write clean, clear, accurate and structured requirements and use Jira in an aligned efficient way.
