Why we have this role @ Koala

An important part of the Supply Chain ensuring that our amazing products are available so ultimately they can reach customers when they want them. As part of the planning team, you will work closely with our suppliers and manufacturing partners to place and manage the purchase orders based on forecasts and Inventory policies

Requirements

What key responsibilities does this role have @ Koala?

  • Monitor stock levels of materials & finished goods across multiple warehouses and raise purchases in line with our forecasts & production plans
  • Maintain forecasting reports in line with S&OP process
  • Monitor the status of purchase orders & deliveries from production sites, investigate order anomalies and ensure all purchases and deliveries are processed correctly
  • Reviewing and matching all invoices to purchase orders & preparing the goods receipt form.
  • Checking shipping documents (eg. Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, etc.) where needed.
  • Maintain BOM’s and complete assemblies as production orders are invoiced & dispatched
  • Contribute to Supplier Evaluations and pricing reviews
  • Perform general administrative tasks to maintain purchase orders & Inventory accuracy
  • Assist with projects to make improvements to purchasing & planning to achieve greater efficiencies across the Supply Chain

Ideal background…

  • 3yrs+ experience in a Planning role such as demand planning, production planning and supply planning, or transferable experience from a stock replenishment, warehouse or inventory management role
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Business/Economics/Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset backed by Excel skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with LEAN or in an Agile / Scrum teams
  • A team player that can also work independently
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented and organized
  • A passion to keep up to date on current industry trends
