About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious individual to build a career in Commercial Mortgage Broking as a Junior Account Manager. In this newly created position, you will play an important role in generating high quality business from our most valuable customer segments and business partners.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with our manager of Secured Commercial Lending to plan, build and execute our lead sourcing strategy
  • Making outbound and inbound calls to referral partners and repeat customers to source high converting business. This will involve conveying Valiant’s secured lending proposition and service over the phone
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, business partners and key stakeholders including our Third Party Distribution, Working Capital and Asset Finance teams
  • Provide feedback on live deal scenarios over the phone or by email
  • Workshop commercial transactions through cash flow, risk and financial statement analysis


  • 1+ years of sales or business development experience preferred but not required
  • Good multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Results oriented and team player with high drive to succeed
  • Motivated to hit KPIs and perform in a target based environment
  • Highly motivated to build a career in financial services and obtain a qualification
