About the opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with proficient skills in Systems Administration to join the Info Tech team to help maintain our technology suite and provide technical support to the wider business. You will be working with a variety of technologies and people which will require you to lead the resolution of problems logically and creatively.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Technical leadership in the IT Support space.
  • Creating and delivering on strategic IT initiatives.
  • Assisting with the response and remediation of multiple Audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor management.
  • Ownership and oversight of the Enterprise user access process to internal systems.
  • Windows Server Administration including management of Windows Server Failover Clustering, Web Servers and bespoke applications.
  • Active Directory Management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems, firewalls, and networks.
  • Managing and maintaining VOIP based communications systems.
  • Maintaining our fleet of MacBooks and Windows 10 laptops.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Managing our Office 365 tenancy, including SharePoint, Exchange, and Azure AD.
  • Supporting the many systems, software, and services we use.
  • Responding to incidents and requests company-wide using Zendesk.
  • Providing input and feedback on projects, processes, and procedures.
  • Assisting users in troubleshooting computer problems (hardware, software, and cloud) following best practices.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 2 years in a Senior IT technical administration capacity.
  • Strong Windows Server Administration skills including experience in patch roll out across multiple environments and security patching/hardening.
  • Administering Windows 10 using intune.
  • Understanding of networking and firewalls.
  • Understanding of domain registrations and configurations.
  • Able to write code/scripts and understand coding concepts.
  • Enjoys building good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to efficiently communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • A tertiary qualification related to Computer Science/Information Technology or have relevant experience (Desirable)
  • Administering AWS (Desirable)
  • Administering Enterprise firewalls (Desirable)
  • ITIL certification (Desirable)
