Currently, our employees are predominately working from home and this role will also be remote for the time being. We anticipate employees will be returning to the office, in a flexible capacity, during 2022 as appropriate & when it is safe to do so.


Deputy has grown at a phenomenal rate and as such the systems landscape has grown organically with little consideration for the future. Scaling at hyper speed requires constant adapting and enhancing of our global processes, systems and ways of working. The Business System’s team is responsible for reviewing the entire application architecture, defining the target state to reach our targets and delivering on the recommended end state architecture, with a practical roadmap for remediation. This team works hand in hand with the business to simplify the shift of our internal Marketing, Sales & Customer Success team on a daily basis, scoring new wins every month in operational excellence!


As Solution Architect / Designer you will be a core member of the multi project roadmap for the Go To Market team, covering Marketing, Sales, Customer Experience & Support. You will be asked to be an advisor in technology decisions and drive your own set of projects directly with business leaders and user to make sure the business outcomes are supported by scalable technology. This role will work across all Go To Market applications in a Salesforce centric landscape where Salesforce is the core CRM, Marketo the Marketing Engine & Zendesk as the Customer Support engine to name a few.  

This is a critical role due to the large number of applications that make up the domain, which have overlapping capabilities, no longer meet the requirements of the new global scale of Deputy or require intervention to accomplish the functions they were designed for. The Solution Architect / Designer will report to the Lead GTM Architect and work with the Go To Market team to ensure applications are fit-for-purpose and are easily extendable for the future.

To be successful in this role, It is expected that you have experience working with SaaS and custom built applications and have a proven track record in delivering complex projects on time and within parameters. 


  • Define and deliver technology solutions and process improvements across the Marketing, Sales and Success projects
  • Lead and deliver small to medium sized projects, both from an architectural and hands-on perspective
  • Present solutions to both technical and non-technical team members
  • Work with the Lead Architect to partner with various stakeholders, subject matter experts and execs across the organisation

  • Prior experience with SaaS Architecture, Design and/or configuration on some of the applications in our tech stack
  • Solid background working in a SaaS environment with practical experience in delivering projects across Sales, CRM, Marketing and PRM (at least 2)
  • Ability to influence others and drive decisions in a highly dynamic and customer-focused environment. Must have the ability to listen, understand and persuade.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, frenetic startup where no two days are the same
  • Previous Vendor Management experience (nice to have) 
  • Budget responsibility for SaaS platforms (nice to have)
