Cadmus is the market-leading solution in Higher Education assessment in Australia and has recently replicated this success in the UK with rapid adoption at 15 of the top 20 institutions.

We are seeking a senior commercial leader to spearhead the global expansion of the product. You'll step into a pivotal role at a critical juncture — where product-market fit has been achieved and scaling is in full swing. Our product boasts an 18-month head start over potential competitors, backed by substantial investment for continuous enhancement.

This role provides significant autonomy in a flat structure that prioritises efficient and intelligent decision-making to build and lead a global go-to-market strategy, as well as hire a sales team from the ground up.

If you're ready to lead the charge in revolutionising education on a global scale, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

Performance Objectives for this role:

  1. Develop and Implement Revenue Growth Strategies: Devise comprehensive strategies to increase revenue streams from existing customers and acquire new ones.
  2. Drive Customer Acquisition and Retention: Implement initiatives to attract new customers while ensuring high retention rates among existing ones.
  3. Establish Sales Processes and Systems: Develop efficient sales processes and utilise the existing CRM to manage sales pipelines effectively.
  4. Lead Sales Team: Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and setting clear performance targets.
  5. Customer Success Management: Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
  6. International Expansion: Develop and execute strategies for expanding into new international markets within Higher Education.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, product development, and other departments to achieve revenue objectives.

  • Working with a team of mission-driven individuals who genuinely love what they do
  • A diverse and inclusive environment where there are no barriers to anyone succeeding
  • Flexible, remote-friendly workplace
  • Equity incentives; that way, we all share in the success of Cadmus

Cadmus is a remote-friendly company and this role is open to candidates anywhere in Australia, though our preference would be for this executive to sit in Melbourne with the rest of the team.

Hiring Process

Please apply online with your resume, and instead of a cover letter, we would love you to answer a few questions.
