About the role

The Channel BDM will be responsible for building a successful channel go-to-market model and contributing to significant revenue growth.  In this role, you'll also focus on expanding our existing channel relationships to deliver the agreed outcomes and objectives.  Your proven experience of acquiring, on-boarding and growing high-performing partner relationships will help Lumary scale its Australian business across the Aged Care and Disability Services sectors.

A day in the life

  • Identifying and onboarding new partners in Australia whilst growing our existing partner relationships
  • Managing the end to end partner life cycle, ensuring a positive experience for our mutual customers
  • Pipeline generation through business planning, campaigns, industry events and prospecting with partners
  • Working collaboratively with members of the Direct Sales team to identify and win new business opportunities together
  • Delivering accurate partner sales forecasts and removing any foreseen roadblocks
  • Leading and executing all partner sales and marketing activities to drive sustainable and scalable revenue streams
  • Conducting timely Partner business reviews every quarter to ensure alignment with objectives
  • Formulating channel partner programs, initiatives and incentives
  • Leading Partner contract negotiations to enable joint success
  • About you

  • 3 years+ experience of channel management or channel development experience 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS sales motions
  • Experience working in a start-up environment or high growth business
  • Ability to develop relationships and engage at all levels within partners (Sales to C-suite)
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and achieve deadlines
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with demonstrable new business results
  • Prior experience working with Large Account Resellers (desirable)
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry(desirable)
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM(desirable)
  • Familiar with leading sales methodologies such as Challenger and SPIN (desirable)
