Security Community Analyst

The community team is responsible for convincing the rest of the Afterpay team that security is something to care about and for empowering them to make good security choices. You’ll work side by side with our security community manager to devise and execute our security engagement activities, and collaborate across the broader security team and organisation.
As a community team, we provide practical solutions and engaging content, embedding security into how we work.
We do this with regular multi-channel engagement, general and targeted training, creative content and utilizing data to encourage positive security behaviours.
Your work will be varied - for example working within the security team to analyse product changes and determine any training requirements, and collaboration across the organisation to make sure we’re giving our customers the best chance of staying safe when working with our products.
You’ll support the security community manager in measuring our security engagement and improving it over time and showing results through metrics.
Most importantly of all, you’ll work with the security community manager to foster a great team culture and have a laugh along the way.
-Work with the Security Community Manager to develop and execute strategies to improve Afterpay’s security posture
-Collaborate with our partners in Product, Detection & Response, GRC and Enterprise security streams to develop solutions that align with
our security and organisational goals
-Operate our security behavioural platforms and use data to inform decision making and educational approaches, and measure outcomes
-Develop engaging educational material and communications

You’ll need a track record in the information security field, and overall delivery experience is also valuable.
You’ll be able to speak enough nerd to relate to technology professionals and enough layperson to relate to everyone else.
Experience in automation, a passion for data and understanding the ‘why’ is also highly regarded.
