Accountant - FrankieOne

The role 
The purpose of the Accountant role is to work with the Finance Manager on the
day-to-day financial accounting and reporting duties for FrankieOne. The role is
also responsible for engaging and partnering closely with key stakeholders
across the business and within Finance team on a daily basis.

Key roles & responsibilities
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close,
including completing assigned journal entries and balance sheet account
- Prepare financial reports as requested by management through collecting,
analysing, and summarising account information and trends.
- Manage, plan, and direct all aspects of the accounts payables and
accounts receivables functions.
- Prepare and run monthly payroll.
- Advise managers and staff on record keeping practices and procedures,
and other compliance matters.
- Assist external auditors in reviewing financial processes and information
by providing supporting documentation and contributing personal
- Periodically examine and analyse the company’s income and expenditure.
- Support with the preparation of ad hoc financial reports as required.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Support with completion of quarterly, annual and 5-year budgets and
- Prepare annual financial statements and other external compliance
- Identify, communicate and implement process improvements for key
finance processes.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations for all subsidiaries.
- Support with preparation of monthly and quarterly tax returns.
- Support with formulating and maintaining internal controls to mitigate
financial risks for the company.
- Assisting customers with financial related inquiries.

In a previous life you have:
- 2+ years experience in relevant experience in similar accounting roles
- You have strong accounting and analytical skills (Minimum part qualified
Chartered Accountant or CPA)
- Passionate about what they do and eager to grow
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work setting and
capable of working autonomously 

- Confident communicating to key stakeholders (management, other teams
that interact with the finance team)
- Excellent excel skills
- Proficiency in Xero
- Detail oriented with strong time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Passionate about automation and technology

The salary range for this position will be 70k - 80k and will be located at our offices at 710 Collins Street, Docklands, Vic, 3008
