The Clinical Service

Seer’s clinical team is responsible for providing the largest at-home video-EEG-ECG monitoring service in Australia. The service includes patient-facing activities, data analysis, and report generation. Clinical team members must have patient care and safety as their first priority and be able to reliably communicate important information.

About the Role

As a part-time Clinical Technologist you will perform the patient-facing aspects of Seer’s clinical service and conduct high quality ambulatory video-EEG-ECG recordings. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and ensuring their comfort,
• Connecting patients to our ambulatory video EEG and ECG system,
• Securely transferring and managing patient data,
• Remotely monitoring data quality,
• Performing minor equipment maintenance.

• Traveling to satellite offices to connect/disconnect patients on a weekly basis,
• Occasionally travelling to patients when troubleshooting cannot be performed remotely.

About You

• Be compassionate with a strong focus on providing quality care,
• At least three years’ experience in clinical neurophysiology is required.
• Have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills,
• Be comfortable with the use of technology,
• Be capable of meeting tight deadlines,
• Be able to work independently,
• Have a full drivers licence,
• You will require a Working With Children check.

We are looking for people with a strong theoretical and practical understanding of electroencephalography. The successful candidate will work well independently, have exceptional communication skills, cope with tight deadlines and be able to work in a very dynamic environment. This is a part time role, 2 days a week.
