As SunDrive's research analyst you will provide fundamental guidance that will impact strategic decision making and direction. You will perform and build research that will ultimately position us as a continual innovative leader within the solar and broader renewables industry.

You will focus on:

  • Conducting extensive quantitative and qualitative research on the global solar industry, analysing market trends, competitors + emerging technology.
  • Contribute insights and data to costing models for solar products, considering manufacturing costs, distribution and pricing structures.
  • Investigate and assess industrial practices, technologies and advancements relevant to solar energy.
  • Analyse the global PV market to identify growth opportunities, risks and key market drivers.
  • Identify and understand PV products, their efficiency, cost effectiveness & market positioning.
  • Utilise collected data to create a comprehensible story. 
  • We would love you to have:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business / Economics / Engineering. 
  • Proven experience within a research role, preferably in solar / the renewable sector. 
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and market research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate research into actionable insight and advice.
  • Fluent in Mandarin.
