About the role

In this cross-functional role, you’ll be responsible for the conversion of Donesafe leads into sales-ready opportunities. You'll be part of our marketing team while also working closely with the sales and team.

You will be a lead’s first point of contact with our team and as such, will play a crucial role in the customer experience. You’ll connect with leads via phone, email, video, text and chat, deliver a masterclass in rapport-building, before hitting your goal of booking in a meeting with our sales team. You’ll embody our brand personality (think fun, playful and professional – we love gifs!) and ultimately, be a key contributor in boosting Donesafe sales and our long-term business growth. What’s more, the insights you garner from conversations with leads will be key in strengthening our marketing initiatives.

In this role, you’ll gain foundational skills necessary for a future in sales or marketing, and will learn first-hand how a revenue-driven marketing team operates within a tight-knit sales and marketing ecosystem.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assume responsibility for qualifying via phone, email, video, text and chat, all marketing-generated leads into sales-ready opportunities
  • Being a key contact point for new leads and sales-ready opportunities; to help answer their questions and direct them accordingly
  • Hosting regular webinars to generate interest in the Donesafe product line
  • Continuously improve the lead follow up process to drive conversion and efficiency goals.
  • Sharing insights you’ve gained about our target buyers that can help across marketing initiatives
  • Optimise product positioning, messaging and storytelling through various content and media types, including video
  • Working across Salesforce, Hubspot CRM and other revenue generating technology to make sure lead data is accurate and up to date
  • Represent the organisation at conferences, meetings, exhibits and other special events
  • Other duties where necessary.

Requirements

You will have excellent communication skills and an affinity with technology. This is an entry-level role, perfect for an enthusiastic, motivated person that wants a shot at developing into an experienced sales or marketing professional in a growth industry. You should be looking for an organisation where you can make an impact and benefit from seeing the fruits of your labour.

Being an entry-level role, motivation, soft skills and work ethic are considered alongside experience. There’ll also be lots of training so you can get up and running quickly and crush this role!

Your experience and skills should include most, if not all:

  • Confidence engaging with and managing client interactions over phone, video, webinar, event and written channels
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountable to monthly and quarterly targets
  • Time management skills and being highly organised
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop skills
  • The ability to develop new ideas and be self-motivated with projects
  • Tertiary qualification favoured

This is a full-time position based in our Sydney office (once we’re back there post-COVID that is! Until then you will be working some days from home).
