With groundbreaking technology that simplifies gift cards for consumers and businesses, we are bringing together an amazing team.

Reporting to our Head of Finance, as our Finance Manager you will be responsible for reporting on the financial health of our business. Through your detailed and accurate data analysis and reporting, you will effectively advise the leadership on how we are tracking, and key opportunities, contributing to our long-term success.

You will work collaboratively with the business, building our financial capability, interpreting financial information, also making recommendations for future courses of action in line with our roadmap and strategic ambitions. You are focused on enabling our leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

What you will lead:

  • Timely and accurate delivery of month end reporting
  • Preparation and review of journals
  • Preparation and review of general ledger and systems reconciliations including Sales Reconciliation and Card Liability Reconciliation
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register and reconcile to HR System
  • Managing inter-company recharges, loan settlements and confirmations
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information, sharing key insights, and recommending further courses of action
  • Suggesting value add and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participating in setting the goals and objectives, and frameworks for the Finance department as we scale and grow
  • Collaborate with and correspond with other departments as a key business partner and support
  • Taking initiative, open to all broader finance responsibilities, projects and other administrative or ad-hoc tasks

What you can demonstrate:

  • Previous working experience as a Finance Manager in a start-up or fast growth environment
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Proficient use of finance software, and intermediate to advanced excel proficiency
  • Ability to manage high volumes of transactions
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Detailed documentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work across multiple locations and time zones

Your qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or Economics and as a plus, ACCA/CA/CPA qualified
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics, a strong Knowledge and application of accounting standard (AASB/IFRS)
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Prior experience using NetSuite would be advantageous, however not essential
