Our Finance team consists of Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Legal, Risk & Controls and Procurement. The role of Business Systems Analyst sits within our Business Fundamental (Fintech) Squad and is responsible for rebuilding and strengthening business fundamentals in our core financial systems and processes to allow for growth and scalability.

The Role 

  • Systems Administration and maintenance of key financial setups in ERP, such as PO
  • Approval workflow, GST Setups, user access and permissions
  • Investigate and pinpoint system issues in Business Central so that BC engineers can develop and implement the fix for end users
  • Support finance team members in month end and audit reconciliation and reporting, through data and system knowledge and investigations.
  • Working with system engineers, analysts and agile development teams on design, definition, documentation and implementation of functionality
  • User Acceptance Test and providing training to end users for customized functions to improve efficiency and productivity of ends
  • Coordinate between finance team and engineers in our squad to better understand support issues users have raised
  • Build superset dashboard for teams in Finance, to automate the data extracting process, improve their productivity and providing insights

  • Intermediate Excel skills to build and analyze data 
  • Intermediate SQL skills to read the data from different sources and provide insights/analysis to the team 
  • Python skills, to automate manual process (beneficial but not essential) 
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting and internal controls 
  • Ability to get things done, either autonomously or within a team, depending on the circumstances. 
  •  An understanding of how technology works (software, data, systems interfaces, APIs, infrastructure, etc)
