How you’ll make an impact

As Coordinator for our Investor Relations (IR) team, you will be a key player in helping make everyday life in the Investor Relations team tick.

Finding comfort working in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment, with more than strong admin skills to offer, your ability to communicate effectively and think proactively will be second to none. You are the kind of person that is always one step ahead, planning and prioritising constantly as you go.

You will be coordinating the Investor Relations team and representing them when interacting with investors, the XLT, the Board and other external and internal stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Provide team coordination and administrative support to the Investor Relations team, including organising and prioritising large volumes of inbound investor and analyst communication, preparation of emails, letters, documents, ad hoc analysis, presentations and processing of invoices.
  • Take key responsibility for managing responses to queries received in the investor relations mailbox.
  • Provide quality & concise administrative support e.g processing expenses, accounts, coordinating end-to-end complex domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Assist with the calendar management and logistics and event management of the Investor and
  • Analyst meeting calendar, including meetings, travel, roadshows and all market-facing events for the Investor Relations team and XLT members.
  • Develop, build and maintain effective working relationships within the CFO group, with other executives, wider teams at Xero and external stakeholders.
  • Develop a high-level understanding of Xero business activities and initiatives, and importantly how they align with the function of the Investor Relations team in order to be conversant with teammates and stakeholders and to proactively manage duties and anticipate business needs.
  • Develop relationships with EAs to XLT members to fast track planning and provide seamless cross-functional support.
  • Assist with logistics of bi-annual Earnings Announcements including presenting slides for the earnings call if required and assisting with Investor Roadshows.
  • Any other support as reasonably required by the Investor Relations team.
  • Assist in managing investor/analysts CRM databases and the share registry.
  • What you’ll bring with you

  • 5 years of team coordination experience
  • Experience in coordinating events with external stakeholders
  • Some experience in investor relations or market engagement preferred but not essential
  • Experience in building and maintaining excellent working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
  • A high level of integrity and experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience in project coordination
  • Experience gained in a fast growth, global business highly regarded
  • Proficiency with G-suite preferable, but not essential
  • Demonstrated multitasking skills in dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Some finance knowledge desirable but not required
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across a global business showing confidence working with multiple time zones
  • Highly organised, action orientated and detail-focused
  • Excel at building relationships and networks; influence others to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to quickly build effective working relationships with others at all levels of the organisation
  • Competent at managing and facilitating business critical issues, prioritising conflicting needs proactively and with follow through
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude
  • A flexible mindset combined with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Versatile and able to work outside of the immediate remit
