The Client Account Manager (CAM) role is primarily accountable for cultivating relationships at senior levels, identifying and qualifying net new opportunities and supporting the pre-sales process within their target customers.
 
The role exists to delivery long-term sustainable relationships and revenue including subscription and annualised recurring revenue through services such as, Professional Services, Product, Managed Services & Licensing

Areas of Primary Responsibility:

  • Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within target accounts
  • Nurture and deliver all renewals within target accounts
  • Establish and nurture relationships with partners and affiliates to grow the Versent business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key client contacts, partners and key internal stakeholders to facilitate the development and generation of all opportunities aligned to the Versent business.
  • Identify, develop and present consulting proposals and services to clients working closely with Client Account Director and Customer Director
  • Contribute to the capture and sharing of knowledge and intellectual property of Versent
  • Actively manage clients and relationships with external stakeholders relevant to the achievement of business objectives as well as reinforcement of Versent brand recognition 
  • Planning and Scheduling
  • Work closely with Client Account Director to achieve agreed Versent’s sales targets
  • Maintaining licensing renewals and currency of commercial agreements e.g. MSAs
  • Ensure accurate management of accounts, clients and opportunities in Salesforce and communicate and collaborate regularly with Directors (Practice) and Directors (Professional Services) on all stages of the Sales Lifecycle.
  • Plan own workload to achieve agreed client deliverables on projects in required timeframes
  • Skills required:

  • 2-5 years experience in similar role, preferably in the technology industry
  • Demonstrates responsiveness to meet internal/external client needs in day-to-day actions
  • Must have a basic understand of professional services and cloud computing
  • Projects credibility; gains clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiating
  • Adapts to changing circumstances, dealing with ambiguity and adapting self to different people or situations; ability to 'think on your feet'
  • Written, oral and presentational skills, and communicating effectively with people
