We're a hyper-growth cyber-security company driven by our purpose of making the world's coders more secure.

With our online secure coding platform, we train and equip software developers to be the first line of defence in their organizations, empowering them to think and act with a security mindset every day. They want to ship secure code with confidence - and we give them the skills and knowledge to do it! 

With a recently secured $US48 million in Series B funding, and customers including some of the world's most well-known banks and telecommunications companies, we're now looking for the Marios to our Luigis, the pepper to our salt, and the Chewbaccas to our Hans Solos to join our global team of Warriors.

Our global developer-focused security business is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire a Head of Brand, Content, and Communications to lead, grow and develop a small team with big aspirations. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for establishing a brand focus for our company; developing and maintaining our brand (both internally and externally) across all related key areas including social media, outreach/PR and creative.
This position requires you to be digital first in your approach, and you will be a hands on, creative storyteller.

What you'll do?

  • Responsible for the definition, positioning, expansion and reputation of the Secure Code Warrior brand with the objective to increase brand awareness and consideration; ultimately assisting pipeline acquisition through top and mid-funnel strategies
  • Lead the Brand strategy for a portfolio of brands - brand architecture, framework and identity
  • Lead the Communications strategy - corporate communications, public relations, crisis communications, and event support
  • Lead an internal team and manage external agencies (Media, Creative, PR, Content, Research) and media partners
  • Support the development and implementation of integrated demand generation campaigns and programs - content marketing, campaign creative, affiliate sponsorship's, contra and paid media plans (data-driven digital strategies, print, content marketing, social media)
  • Forecast, measure and report on performance against goals
  • What we're looking for?

  • Demonstrable experience working in a senior related role, with a proven track record from the development and successful implementation of innovative strategic brand and communications plans and strategies in a SaaS or Startup environment.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing practices.
  • Strong leadership, management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrable success in the Technology space; bonus points for cyber security or software development.
  • Staff management and development experience.
