Your Opportunity:

As an IT Systems Support Officer for hipages, you will be responsible for providing support across all hipages’ internal Operational systems and infrastructure (excluding product-related technologies) to ensure safe and efficient operations. This hands-on role will include providing day-to-day helpdesk user support and troubleshooting, as well as managing other IT Operations tasks such as patch management, telephony platform support, hardware and software maintenance, and new system implementations or upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of Level 1 and 2 Helpdesk support to our staff across multiple sites in accordance with service standards.
  • Providing day to day technical support to the internal users via phone, email, remote access, in-person, and through the Freshdesk IT ticketing system.
  • Ensure reported requests are logged via the IT ticketing system, implement corrective action and follow up escalated issues to ensure a successful resolution is achieved.
  • Conduct remote and in-person troubleshooting across reported general IT issues involving hardware, software, networks, peripherals and provide assistance to users with applications in the Google Workspace suite. 
  • Identifying and problem-solving operational and functional issues affecting the successful operation and use of core business systems and integration services. 
  • Work with others in ITOps to ensure the network, physical and virtual IT infrastructure, systems and services are implemented, administered, maintained and upgraded in order to meet the requirements of the business
  • The successful candidate would be required to work after hours including providing weekend support ad-hoc based on business needs.

You are committed to delivering high quality work and are accountable for delivering results.

Your CV:

  • A minimum 2 years’ experience as a Level 2 Support Engineer.
  • An understanding of ITIL fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac environments.
  • Experience in Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policies.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace applications.
  • Sound knowledge of common networking practices including cabling, IP addressing and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of the Cisco Meraki platform.
  • Online Meetings and Meeting rooms management, preferably Zoom environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of ticketing systems, FreshService exposure is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated depth of technical understanding and knowledge of PC hardware/software in networked corporate based environments, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis as part of the incident postmortem process, including written report out of results and recommendations.
